Parenthood episode 2.12

Ok so mainly this post is about the song Mae Whitman(who plays Amber) sang at the end of the episode. It was seriously amazing and made me cry and it was in my opinion the best episode of the show so far. Ok so here are the lyrics to "Graveyard Song"

So if you watch the show you know that Ambers dad is a musician who is also an alcoholic/drug addict and this song is totally about him and his struggles and since they are about to bring his character back on the show this song was basically a perfect segue into his return. Mae actually wrote the song for the show just adding to the reasons why she is one of my favorite actresses. I cannot stop listening to this song its absolutely amazing!! <3

The rest of the episode was great but this song and the scene with Lauren and Mae earlier in the episode made it perfect. The best one yet-but again-that's my opinion lol

Intro

So since this is my first blog I suppose I should make it like an introductory kind of thing?? lol. ok lets see...My name is Calli. I'm 18. I go to HCC right now but hopefully next year I will be at UCF with my bestest friend. I am a psychology major basically because it seems like a cool thing to be and I really enjoy it. Although I don't really like listening to people complain but my thought process is if people are in therapy they actually have legit things to complain about and I like to help people who actually need help so I'm thinking it will actually be something I enjoy. umm let's see what else?? I go to Orlando basically every weekend to visit my best friend Mandy or "Mando" as i prefer to call her lol. She is awesome even though we are actually quite violent with each other. I'm pretty sure I have bruises from her nonsense but I suppose it's my fault since she actually was a genuinely nice person until she met me lol. I am kinda mean and sarcastic but I'm usually kidding around. My humor is just mean and sarcastic and some people can't handle it but those who can are quite epic and I think they enjoy it.

Hmm i suppose we should move on to interests...I love to read its so much fun. I love picturing the stories in my head and wishing I was certain characters. I am currently on a quest to read every Nicholas Sparks book. It's going quite well the only I have read and haven't liked was A Walk to Remember which is probably because the movie was so amazing and I watched the movie before I read the book. Umm...I played a lot of sports in high school I got a letter in swimming so I guess I was decent at it, I played JV basketball for a year, I played flag football on the powderpuff team every year and I played lacrosse my senior year. I love sports they are so fun. Football is def my favorite to watch and play :) and TV shows and movies are a big deal lol. Parenthood is my favorite tv show of all time mainly because I think Lauren Graham and Mae Whitman are two of the best actresses on the planet!! I love Glee as well and of course Gilmore Girls(again the Lauren Graham thing lol). I love movies The Answer Man is currently one of my favorites as is Remember the Titans and Billy Madison haha. I love musicals also I have seen Rent, Wicked, Legally Blonde, and Phantom of the Opera and I'm going to see Rock of Ages next weekend! Sweeny Todd and Rocky Horror are awesome as well haha

So yea that's basically me. I'm kind of crazy and loud but I like to think I'm funny and have been told I am so that's good. I'm crazy protective of my friends and family-but I mean-who isn't?? I just like to have fun and be happy because I think being happy is the most important thing :)
